See the problem is i been useing my moms sister cricut and the lid broke where now it wont open on its own but make a loud brakeing noise

when using dollar tree vinyl need to use less pressure.

The PNG hack seems to be more work than uploading it in one color, making multiple copies, stack them and then contour out the parts that are not that color on each one. Or is it just because that is how I usually do it?

I never thought about doing it this way This makes it much simpler!

This is great. I am an HR Manager for a small company and trying to determine how to create swag for new employees. I am thinking of things I can do for them and the medium to do it (cricut/sublimation/other) I am thinking cricut to print out logo to put on the headphones we provide or maybe even on the backpack we provide for their laptop. A notebook was one item, but a notepad may be helpful. Thinking of all the things a new employee might want/need. This is very helpful

I think you can adjust the sensitivity of the pencil so things move more freely. I’m sorry I don’t recall where it is…

Have you ever tried doing a small offset around your words just enough to where the offset is not touching the next letter. Then start out by just weeding the offset then the extra all the way around. You are then just left the words You haven’t lost a letter or the dot above the I.

Too long and too much work to do all of this. Isn’t it better to use Sublimation instead?

My peeve with Cricut at the moment is that Design Space is the only software you can use and they raised the computer requirements to run it. After being away from my Cricut for 6 months, then updating design space on all my computers, three were previously running DS adequately, now they are incompatible with DS. These are all up to date Win 10 or Mac OS Monterey or later computers, with 8 GB Ram, large hard drives and fast processors but when DS opens it tells me that my computer does not meet the minimum requirements to run (updated) DS. Two of my computers were purchased recently. I am not buying a new computer to run DS, I can't do that every time there is an update! There should be versions continued to be available for people with computers with older OS or less ram.

So I stopped paying for Design Space and I haven’t gone back in to do anything in a while. Well, when I went back in to do a project, after I logged in, I couldn’t figure out how to get to the space to do my project. Could someone tell me how to do that?

I am so new and so lost

After a few months of being too busy to use my Cricut and Design space, I set out to make some things. Had to redownload DS on all my computers just to learn that my computers are no longer compatible with Design Space. My computers are not that old, some Windows 10 and some up to date Macs. One purchased last year and now I can't run Design Space or use my Cricut????!!!! What is happening??? I am not buying a new laptop just for this. What can we do?

I tried cutting words from shimmer vinyl but the cricut kept tearing off parts of the letters. What am I doing wrong?

No 11….. I had my entire account switched over to someone else’s profile. When I couldn’t access my projects and called support, they managed to get me logged in again, but the account and projects was listed under someone else’s name, and new projects had been added. They had been using my account subscription during a period when I wasn’t using Cricut. When Cricut support talked me through the process of getting the owner’s name off my projects and the account back in my name, I ended up losing my entire account and all my projects. When I addressed this with senior management, I was told there was nothing they could do. I had to recreate all my logos and packaging from scratch. 7 years worth of projects.

Oh man, you are sooooo on point here. I agree, we never used to have a lot of issues with Cricut it was a smooth crafting process and user friendly. Now, with each upgrade, which by the way are happening far too often, there are a new set of issues. Some of the great tools they had, like the finer tuning when uploading images, are no longer available. It has gone from good to bad to worse. I get so frustrated when I see all the Cricut users defending and praising Cricut, for whatever reason, this does not serve the greater number of cricut users who feel judged when trying to point out their errors on their official facebook page. I have invested so much in their machines ( i have 5 machines) and products that it is not that simple for me to walk away from them and I have no choice but to put up with the inadequacies. Although the CEO professes to be for the people its just a money making racket. Some of the older machines although still in perfect operating functions cannot be used as they are not supported by Cricuts software. This too will happen to the current machines sooner rather than later. This video should be sent to Cricut.

I am unsure of my Favorite take away. I am torn between the rolled flowers and learning to stencil properly. I don't know if I will be using the making of stain but if I do, I sure am glad to know how to make it.

Can you do screen printing for adult shirts? How do you set it up and for the measurements

Just remember to never use it on your cutting mats. I found out the hard way that it ruins them.
